Disappearing Borders by Jamy Yang

The "Disappearing Borders" exhibition is a special curation by renowned industrial designer Jamy Yang for the 2023 "Design Shanghai" event. Through a design perspective, the exhibition aims to explore and gain insighgt into the involving relationship between people, objects, and nature in the digital age. The term "Disappearing Borders" refers to the disappearance of boundaries between the physical world and the virtual world which has been digitized. Such boundaries between people, objects, and things are also disappearing. Yang believes that designers should adopt a critical attitude towards the technological and societal changes and strive to create innovative designs that embrace and transcend the boundaries between the physical and virtual worlds.
