DISAPPEARING BOUNDARY

The theme of the speech, "Disappearing Boundaries", aligns with the curatorial theme presented by industrial designer Yang Mingjie at this year's Design Shanghai. In the digital era, the temporal and spatial boundaries of the physical world are being shattered, and the lines between the virtual and the real are becoming increasingly blurred. Boundaries between people, objects, and things are also disappearing. In this context, how will design evolve? As designers, we should maintain a critical attitude towards the technological and societal changes and strive to create a more friendly, non-oppositional relationship between individuals, individuals and objects, and individuals and nature.
