Important Notice: Design Shanghai Announces 2022 Fair Postponed to 8 – 11 June 2023

Dear friends, exhibitors and partners,

In response to the continuing uncertainty and challenges to events during the on-going Covid-19 outbreaks in China, we can confirm that Design Shanghai, scheduled to take place on 13 – 15 October 2022 has now been rescheduled to take place on 8 – 11 June 2023.

This decision has been made with the safety of our customers at the forefront of our thinking in light of governmental directions and general public health advice and in consultation with our partners, team and venue in China and internationally. Safety remains our top priority, as does our commitment to producing the best possible commercial outcome and highest quality event for our exhibitors, visitors and the design community. 

The venue (Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre) will remain the same; we will confirm full details shortly and keep you fully informed of any further developments. The new dates coincide with Design Shanghai’s tenth-anniversary edition, which sees a major expansion of the show including additional features and attractions. We are confident this will be the strongest event in the show's history. Between now and the show in 2023 we will also be implementing a comprehensive programme of content and digital activities designed to support and generate business opportunities for our exhibitors and maintain valuable connections across the whole design community.
