This year marks a significant expansion for Design Shanghai, as we proudly enhance our existing 3 Halls - Furniture & Lighting, Kitchen & Bathroom, and Living & Lifestyle - with the much-anticipated addition of Hall 4, New Materials & Applications. This expansion positions Design Shanghai as a pivotal event for exploring the synergy and balance between Eastern and Western design philosophies, boasting an expanded scope and a more diverse array of exhibitors. The event is set to offer a rich tapestry of unique initiatives including groundbreaking features, thought-provoking forum and workshops, and an array of engaging design events. Design Shanghai 2024 is dedicated to leading the charge in global design innovation, providing an enriched, multi-dimensional design experience.
The Sustainable Design China Summit 2024 will take place in Hall 4 of the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Center, coinciding with Design Shanghai from 19-21 June 2024. This relocation signifies a joint commitment to fostering new advancements in sustainable development. The summit will center around six pivotal themes: "Retail Renaissance: Mall Culture and Sustainability", "Well+good: Positive Impact Hospitality", "The Economics of Climate Change", "Beyond Buildings: Urban Sustainability and Smart Cities", "3D Printing in Design", and "Future Space: Where Technology and Sustainability Meet". These discussions are integral to shaping a sustainable future through the lens of innovative design.
