Explore Japanese Beauty Through Materials and Craftsmanship

Targeted at professionals in architecture and interior design, as well as discerning consumers, “Beyond Craft Japan” is a specially curated showcase blending the aesthetic philosophy of Japanese art and design. It highlights the exquisite colors, materials, and exceptional craftsmanship created by Japanese artisans and artists, offering a fresh perspective on Japanese aesthetics, from traditional crafts to contemporary designs.

In 2025, “Beyond Craft Japan” proudly presents five distinctive sections: Japan Brand × Craft (collaborations between brands and crafts), Japan CMF LAB (Japan's color and material brands), Beyond Craft Japan POP UP Shop / Café (a unique pop-up exhibition), Japan Traditional Craft (new ideas from traditional Japanese artisan brands), and Japan Contemporary Design (innovative brands by Japanese designers).

“Beyond Craft Japan” aims to provide visitors with a platform to explore the depth and creativity of Japanese design, delve into the profound cultural connections between Japan and China, and inspire new avenues for cultural exchange between the two nations.
