César Muntada started his automotive design career in 1994, working for several car manufacturers including Volkswagen. In 2007 he joined AUDI AG and was appointed Project Exterior Designer responsible for the Audi A4/ A5/ A6 and A7 cars. Since 2010, César Muntada is Head of Design Light Experience, where he has been working with his team on all showcars and production cars, as well as all Audi advanced and pre-developement projects, recently including interior light orchestration. César has lead the Audi Light Design team for the last 14 years, designing all front and rear lights, digital light signatures, digital welcome animations, all functional and communication signals and conceptual light accessories for different showcars.
