Chao LI
A multidisciplinary designer with a Master's degree in Service Design and Experience Strategy from the University of Hong Kong and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Art and Design at Rosemont University, USA. With 20 years of user experience design expertise, he is a member of the Alibaba Design
Committee and a P10-level designer at Alibaba. He has over 15 years of hands-on experience in design management, user experience design, branding
and marketing creativity, and user research across industries including e-commerce, healthcare, interactive marketing, online travel, music and
entertainment, and fintech.
He has served as a juror for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and is a member of the Cannes China Creative Alliance. He is also a
committee member of the Design Thinking Professional Committee under the China University Alliance for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education,
an expert committee member of the International Experience Design Conference (IXDC), and one of the “70 Outstanding Designers of New China.”
Additionally, he is an Alibaba Design Honorary Lecturer, with works that have won multiple international awards and been included in the National
Museum of China.
His public service initiatives include founding Alibaba Health Typeface charity project, Alibaba Health Artistic Charity Masks project, and Color Therapy
Charity Project. He is also the initiator of Each Other’s Lives art charity exhibition.
