Giulio Iacchetti, industrial designer since 1992, collaborates and designs for several brands including: Abet Laminati, Alessi, Artemide, Coop, Danese Milano, Dnd Handles, Dorelan, Foscarini, Magis, Moleskine. Among his distinguishing features is the research and definition of new object typologies such as the Moscardino, a biodegradable multipurpose cutlery, designed with Matteo Ragni and awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 2001. In 2009 he was awarded the Prize of Prizes for Innovation given to him by the President of the Italian Republic for the Eureka Coop project, with which he brought design to large-scale retail." Always attentive to the evolution of the relationship between craftsmanship and design, in November 2012 he launched Internoitaliano, the brand under which he signed and produced furniture and accessories inspired by Italian making and living. In 2014 he won his second Compasso d'Oro for the Sfera series of manhole covers, designed with Matteo Ragni for Montini.
