Howard Jiho Kim, the founder of TEMP, was born in Los Angeles, USA. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 2007 with a degree in architecture. He has led a studio team at the Tsinghua University Architectural Design and Research Institute and worked as a project architect at MAD Architects. In addition to his design practice in China, he taught for many years at the Korea National University of Arts and exhibited his personal works at the National Museum of Korea and the Guardian Art Center in Beijing. His work and professional activities have been widely covered by prominent media such as People's Daily, Harbin Daily, Chosun Ilbo, AD China, Icon, and Wallpaper.
