	Associate Professor Fu John is Head of Design Trend Institute School of Design, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, expert in color and fashion trends, director of Shanghai Youth & Children Research Center, and chairman of CMF Expert Committee, China Auto Modification Accessories Association. He has served with Shanghai Jiao Tong University since he obtained a master’s degree from the School of Design of Wuxi University of Light Industry (now Jiangnan University) in 1998. He studied at the University of Dundee, UK, as a visiting scholar in 2010. Between 2001 and 2003, he designed and developed 24 products for Philips. In 2016, he initiated CMF Shanghai, an international automotive CMF design summit. His research areas include Chinese consumers’ lifestyle and aesthetic characteristics, color and fashion trends, brand positioning and definition of product aesthetics. He provides long-term services for well-known Chinese and foreign brands, such as Philips, Toyota, Volkswagen, Audi, Mazda, AkzoNobel, PPG, SABIC, Covestro, Supor, Opple, ZOINA Group, and Fantasia.
