Joe Cheng has 30 years of hotel design experience with international brands. With the design concept of “Eastern artistic conception in Western form ", he is well-known in the field of international hotel interior design. He served as CTBUH’s first jury chair for the category of interior design, and the jury member of Frame Award for the category of hospitality design. He has also been honored numerous titles such as UN cultural ambassador, Chinese Design of the Year, member of Hall of Fame, Professor of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and so on. He firmly believes that a perfect design is a combination of architecture and interior design, based on this philosophy, he has led the CCD team to become pioneers in the hotel design industry. Beyond his design ability and experience, he has always working closely with the owners and operators, and keeps a great communication to fully express his design concept and great ideas.
