Markus Frentrop is the Global Head of RAL COLOURS and RAL Academy. He has contributed his profound knowledge and experience in colour to professionals in the world of colour, industry, trade, architecture and design. Under his leadership, RAL COLOURS was awarded the German Design Award for four times and the Red Dot Design Award in 2017. In 2018, RAL COLOURS was among the winners of Design Intelligence Award. RAL COLOURS has been awarded the title of "German Standard - Century Brand" by the famous German weekly magazine DIE ZEIT. Mr. Frentrop has been a jury member of the Finest Interior Award. In October 2018, he was appointed as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the German Colour Association. He also accepted an invitation from London-based Society of British and International Designer (SBID) to serve as a Member of their Colour Council. Since 2016, Mr. Markus has been one of the co-publishers of RAL annual trend report COLOUR FEELING.
