Masayuki Kurokawa
Chairman of K-SYSTEM and president of the Japanese Butsugaku Reserch Institute, vice chairman of Japan Inter-Design Forum
Masayuki KUROKAWA is an architect, product designer and artist. He was born into a family of architectural design, graduated from Waseda University with doctor in architectural design. At the age of 70, he was awarded the title of "Ph.D of Art", which is rare in Japanese history. He has won 27 German IF Awards, 31 Japanese GOOD DESIGN AWARDs, etc. His works are permanently collected in New York Museum of Modern Art, Denver Art Museum and Metropolitan Museum of Art. He is currently the chairman of K-SYSTEM and president of the Japanese Butsugaku Reserch Institute, vice chairman of Japan Inter-Design Forum, etc.
