Mo Zheng was born into an art family and holds a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Visual studies from State University of New York at Buffalo. She is the founder and chief architect of the international architecture firm AntiStatics based in Beijing and New York. She is also a lecturer at the Weitzman School of Design, University of Pennsylvania. Her design philosophy is to integrate the international leading parametric design and digital construction working methods with Chinese local culture and technology. Founded in 2015, Zheng has led Antistatics to become an award-winning practice operating across scales and borders. Known for refined dexterity in complex form and systemic logics, the innovative methodology, inspired by biomimicry, sustainability and emerging tech, has brought solutions to dozens of projects across the globe from the MaoHaus to the New Capital City for Indonesia.
