This year, Design Shanghai 2024 presents diversity, creativity and an integration of East and West in design by setting 4 halls, respectively, Furniture & Lighting, Kitchen & Bathroom Design, Living & Lifestyle, New Materials & Applications. TALENTS is themed “The Quest for the Question”, encouraging designers to maintain a rational perspective and decision-making ability. Neooold is curated by designer Chen Min, features "Art·Extension" as the theme for 2024, extracting the cultural symbol of the bracket arch, a traditional architectural element, to construct a precise and melodious space. The "Rong Design Library" is dedicated to deconstructing traditional crafts into materials and techniques, actively exploring the future of tradition.
